How does Action Day Schools help my child transition from Preschool to TK/Kindergarten, and what ages do you accept?

The transition from Preschool to TK (Transitional Kindergarten) or Kindergarten is a big step, and at Action Day Schools, we make it a smooth and exciting experience! Our TK and Kindergarten programs are designed to build on the foundation set in Preschool, with a balance of academic readiness, social-emotional learning, and hands-on exploration to ensure your child feels confident moving to the next level.

We accept children based on their age and developmental readiness:

Preschool: Typically for children ages 2-4, focusing on early learning, social skills, and structured play.

Transitional Kindergarten (TK): Designed for children who turn 5 between September and December, providing an extra year of learning before entering Kindergarten.

Kindergarten: For children who turn 5 by September 1st, offering a structured academic curriculum that prepares them for elementary school.

With small class sizes, nurturing teachers, and a curriculum that encourages curiosity and independence, your child will feel supported every step of the way as they grow into a confident learner!
